Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using the https://certifieddevs.com platform (the "Service", "Platform"). Your access to and use of the Service is conditional upon your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms.
1. The "Verify, Then Publish" Protocol
CertifiedDevs operates as a managed talent pool rather than a standard job board.
- Mandatory Verification: No developer profile shall be searchable or visible for a technology unless the user holds a verifiable third-party certification.
- Admin Approval: Every profile creation and every subsequent edit (Bio, Rate, or Certifications) requires manual administrator approval before becoming live.
- Edit Locking: If a developer modifies their profile, the edited fields revert to a "Pending" status until an admin confirms accuracy and professionalism.
- Proof of Competence: Developers must provide a validation link, unique ID, or issuer verification path; if a skill cannot be verified, it will be rejected.
2. Code of Conduct
Users agree to use the platform only for its intended purpose. The following are strictly prohibited:
- Fraud: Providing fake certification IDs or falsifying experience.
- Bait-and-switch: Using keywords to bypass filters for skills not verified by an admin.
- Data Mining: Unauthorized scraping of the verified developer database.
- Inappropriate Content: Use of unprofessional language or spam in bios.
3. Subscriptions & Payments (USD)
All fees are quoted in USD ($).
Employer & Recruiter Packages
These tiers are designed for companies seeking high-trust, verified talent without the "noise" of traditional job boards.

Pay-As-You-Go Job Posts

- Extension: Renew for an additional 30 days for $49.
- Featured Job Post: $249 for a 30-day listing. Includes a featured banner and placement on the 1st page of job results.
- Extension: Renew for an additional 30 days for $149.
Developer Profiles
- Standard Profile (Free):
- Includes 24/7 access to your own profile.
- Unlimited job applications.
- Note: No browsing of other developer profiles is permitted.
- Developer Plus ($199/year):
- Includes a featured banner for better visibility.
- Priority placement on pages 1 through 3 (rotating) to stand out to recruiters.
- Priority Developer Review ($20):
- Speeds up the mandatory manual vetting process.
- Reduces the standard 72-hour SLA to 24 hours.

4. Renewal & Notification Policy
- Manual Renewals: Subscriptions at CertifiedDevs will not automatically renew.
- Expiration Notice: We will notify you via email one month (30 days) prior to your subscription ending to facilitate manual renewal.
- Service Interruption: Failure to manually renew by the expiration date will result in the loss of database access or "Pro" profile visibility.
5. Cancellation & Refund Policy
- Developer 14-Day Guarantee: Individual developers are entitled to a full refund if they cancel their "Pro" subscription or "Priority Review" within 14 days of the initial purchase.
- Employer Subscriptions: Due to the nature of the Service and immediate access to verified data, employer subscriptions ($499/$999) are non-refundable.
6. Communications & Privacy (GDPR)
- Newsletter Enrollment: By creating an account, all users agree to be added to the CertifiedDevs official newsletter list to receive profile status updates, talent alerts, and platform news.
- Data Purpose: This communication is essential for maintaining the "Pending Review" workflow and notifying users of certification status.
7. Warranties & Liability
- "As-Is" Service: We provide a high-trust environment but cannot guarantee 100% uptime.
- No Guarantee of Hire: While we verify credentials, we do not guarantee the performance of any candidate hired through the platform.
8. Governing Law
This Agreement and any disputes relating to it shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be submitted to the competent courts in the Netherlands.
